This is the third one of these I have brought over the years and the only one that has arrived without
being smashed by arsehole freight services.
I lusted over this when I was a young fella but FFS they cost as much as a good car back then.
I now have finally confirmed my assumption that this item is a stand alone audio classic. This thing makes
all the right noises. If we all had these back in the day the digital rubbish we have now would have never
got off the ground. You can't beat tape...even narrow slow moving stuff

Hey Graham the shed certainly is coming along. System looks great. Looking forward to heading down and having a nice listen at some stage. Have you got heating in the shed yet?
Amps look nice don't they.
Have you got your Korg DSD hooked up to this unit or do you run that in house for everyday listening?
Couldn't see any digital.

I can see some Falls audio PC's. Have you got any of the Shunyata cables in this system?

Most of the sources are along the foam wall (not shown). No heater yet but should have something organised before next winter.

Pair of Anoconda IC's between the DAC and the preamp.
Cabling still needs to be sorted. I have a hop potch of different stuff at the moment,
Have some of Keiths cables, some Shunyata, some Van Den Hul, Some home mades and
assorted other shit... Ha Ha

The Ol 807 was a bit temperamental after sitting in a cold shed for a few winters and did not like to
fire up. The deck would light up but the computer only worked when the ambient temperature was warm.
I brought a basic repair kit and have been doing a bit of soldering.

Did the main supply caps first followed by the spooling control board below
